Vaginal Rejuvenation treatments have improved the lives of thousands of women giving them more confidence, making intimacy more enjoyable and urinary incontinence manageable. Dermatology Associates is proud to be one of the first in the Pacific Northwest to offer ThermiVa. ThermiVa vulvovaginal rejuvenation treatments deliver controlled thermal energy to the desired areas, external (labia) and/or internal (vaginal), using the same technology that has been used for years to reduce the effects of aging. The complete ThermiVa procedure includes 3 separate treatments over a period of 3 months. There is no downtime other than the office appointments, and no anesthetics are required. Physicians report that their patients are comfortable, relaxed and report an immediate decrease in vaginal laxity and increase in blood flow. Visit our Skintastic News blog to learn more about what to expect during your treatment appointment.
THERMIva is gaining speed throughout the country, recently featured on The Doctors. Watch as Dr. Red Alinsod explains THERMIva, including its applications for incontinence! “It stops leaking. It improves texture and tone and moisture, and improves the sensitivity in tissues that we treat,” he says. Most patients notice results immediately after the first treatment, but maximum improvement is experienced a few weeks after the series of treatments is completed. Results vary depending on the patient, but for most people, results will last about a year.
