Procedures: Injectables

What are injectables?

Neuromodulators (commonly known by the names Botox®, Xeomin® and Jeuveau™) are simple, nonsurgical treatments consisting of injections (commonly referred to as "injectables") directly into the muscles. The neuromodulators (injectables) work by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles allowing the muscles to relax. The relaxation of the muscle eliminates the cause of the creases and lines so they resolve.

Are injectables painful?

Discomfort is usually minimal and brief. Prior to injection, we offer to numb the area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream. Most patients experience no downtime and are in and out of the office following treatment.

Do results differ?
